OneCornwall offers the Provider-Led Induction Programme in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT).

All schools delivering statutory induction must have an Appropriate Body (AB) for their Early Career Teachers (ECTs). ABs play a vital role in ensuring that ECTs receive their statutory entitlements and that schools follow statutory guidance. They also provide support where needed.

By working with OneCornwall TSH as your AB, you will receive:

• Full access to our Appropriate Body services

• ECT registration on the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) system

• Regular checks of progress reviews and formal assessments at the end of Years 1 and 2

• Additional support for ECTs not currently meeting the Teachers’ Standards

A charge of £250 per ECT, per year applies for schools not participating in the programme through OneCornwall.
