Emerging Thematic Areas and Disciplined Inquiry

Following the event on 27th January, a series of Disciplined Inquiry webinars will take place on 10th March and 7th May to support continued collaboration and development.

Discussions from the day have informed a set of draft Disciplined Inquiries, overseen by the Cornwall Education Partnership Operations Board, focused on the following key themes:

• Post-16: Digital, Careers and Transport (Team TransTech) – supporting preparation, access and progression.

• Transition (EYFS–Primary–Secondary - Post 16) – strengthening continuity and belonging at key transition points.

• Parent Carer Communication – building trust and engagement through clear, consistent communication.

• Access through Communication and Community Engagement – improving access via stronger local partnerships.

These themes provide a strong foundation for disciplined inquiry and collective action.
